Regina L. Hummell Davis, 42, of Waverly, died 5:42 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born July 16, 1969, in Columbus to Roger C. and Patricia C Craun Hummell. In February 1995, she married Larry A. Davis, who died May 16, 1998.
Surviving are her mother Patricia C. Mootz and companion Ronald Whiting, of Chillicothe; father and stepmother, Roger C. and Cathy Hummell, of Reynoldsburg; daughters, Ashleigh D. (Michael) Hummell Horsley, of Chillicothe and Kaitlyn M. Davis, at home; a stepson, Dustin A. Davis; her companion of 13 years, David B. Rawlins, of Waverly; sisters, Rebecca (Mike) Liston, Susan (Jason) Sever, both of Chillicothe and Carrie (Chris) Cox, of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; grandfather, Roger L. Hummell, of Columbus; and a special aunt, Rebecca Haynes, of Cincinnati.
Regina had worked as an L.P.N. and was the owner of “Creations So Special”, makers of one of a kind jewelry. She was a life member of V.F.W. 108 Ladies Auxiliary, American Cancer Society and Southern Ohio Cancer Survivors. Regina was the founder of the Ostomy Support Group at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at Wares from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday where a Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held at 7 p.m.
