Lavona C. “Bonnie” Guysinger, 72, of Chillicothe, died 6:21 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born February 23, 1940, in Chillicothe, to William H. and Eva B. Rinehart Booth. She was predeceased by her husbands, Gerald D. Guysinger and Robert C. Garrett.
Surviving are her stepmother, Mary F. Booth, of Waverly; children, Starlet K. Delfosse, of Chillicothe, Gerald W. (Kimberly) Guysinger and Tracy L. Guysinger, both of South Salem; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; step-sisters, Cathy (Nelson) Darling, Sherry Riffe and Betty (Jerry) Pressley, all of Waverly; and step-brothers, Jerry Ramey, of Waverly and Terry (Pam) Ramey, of Galloway. She was predeceased by her mother, Eva B. Booth; father, William H. Booth; a daughter, Rebecca Garrett; a brother Harold Booth; and a great-granddaughter.
Bonnie was a member of Denver Chapel Church. She was retired from Health-Mor.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dean Knapp officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Wares from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
