Glenda J. Atwood

   Glenda J. Atwood, 67, of Chillicothe went to be with the Lord at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.

   She was born April 21,1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Bob and Donna (Benson) Bunn.

   Surviving are sons, Daniel (Heather) Atwood and Steven (Krishna) Atwood, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Abigail (Davante) Maxwell, Cody Atwood, Dylan (Rachel) Atwood, Isaiah Allagree and Randy Allagree; sisters, Alace Keller and Kathleen “Kathy” (James) Milliken, both of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by her former husband, Lester Atwood, Jr.

     Glenda loved the Lord, her family, her animals and watching the grandkids play sports. She loved her grandson whom she raised, Cody Atwood, who was considered her third son. A special thanks to her grandchildren Abby and Cody for caring for her during her illness.

   Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in Twin Township Cemetery with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating. In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of WARE FUNERAL HOME.
