Clarence D "Ching" Cottrill

     Clarence D. “Ching” Cottrill, 80, of Chillicothe passed away 7:39 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness.

     He was born March 2, 1939, in Ross County to the late Rancy and Bernice Arledge Cottrill.  On March 22, 1974, he married the former Carol A. Miller who survives.

     Also surviving are children, David S. Cottrill, Nicol (Todd) Kellough and Shannon N. Cottrill, all of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Bobbie) Cottrill, Satsuma, FL; and sisters, Patty Brennenan and Betty Radcliffe, both of Chillicothe; mother-in-law, Judy Miller, of Tulsa, OK; brothers-in-law, John C. (Gracie) Miller, of Dallas, TX, Don E. (Gretchen) Miller, of Tulsa, OK, Mark A. (Patti) Miller, of Wichita, KS and Todd (Christie) Miller, of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Beth (Edward) Crone, of Claremore, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by a son, Shawn D. Cottrill; a daughter, Judy K. Lambert; a sister, Marquerite Browning and brothers, George and Harold Cottrill.

     Clarence retired after 41 years with Chilpaco and was a member of U.P.I.U. Local 988 and attended Liberty Hill Church.  

     Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, November 9, 2019 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Jamie Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margarets Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
