Lois Davis Obituary

Lois Shirley Davis, 91, of Chillicothe, died 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born September 22, 1928, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Fred and Bernadine Scotthorn Coleman. On April 15, 1968, she married Robert Davis who died August 22, 2017.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen (David) Smith, of Chillicothe; a son, William “Bill” Willis, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Tracy Smith, David Smith II and Jon Willis; great grandchildren, Joseph Buskirk, Joshua Nihiser, Sloane Smith-Brink and Myra Willis; great great grandchildren, Camden Zimmerman and Brayden Buskirk; a brother, Frank (Meg) Coleman, of Clinton Township, MI; and her faithful companion, her dog Chloe. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Willis and a sister, Harriet Jones.

Shirley was a member of Kirkersville United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 in Kirkersville Cemetery with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
