Sondra M. Huffman

     Sondra M. Huffman, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away 2:26 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Ohio State Wexner Medical Center unexpectedly. 

     She was born December 23, 1944, in Chillicothe to Russell and Lona Lott Griffie.  On May 6, 1963, she married Keith Huffman who preceded her in death April 20, 2010. 

     Surviving are sons, Daniel (Kim) Huffman, of Waverly and Troy (Belinda) Huffman, of Chillicothe; special daughter, Paula Lawrence, of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren including special granddaughter, Chris (Chase) Leadingham; special grandson, Chase (Maleah) Huffman; several great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Phillip (Roberta) Griffie,  Gerrie Ward, Candy Rudert, Mary (George) Branscom, Vicki (Scott) Doles, all of Chillicothe, Tina Abbott of Panama, FL;   Walter Griffie, Paul (Carolyn) Dickerson, Wilbur (Chess) Griffie and Edward (Diane) Griffie, all of Chillicothe; many nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Sue Springer, of Chillicothe.  She was predeceased by her mother, Lona Griffie; father and stepmother, Russell and Shirley Griffie; sisters, Joyce Bland, Patty Eblin and Wanda Taylor and a brother-in-law, Leoard Ward.

     Sondra was a retired sales clerk with Big Lots.  She was a member of Maple Grove Christian Union Church. 

     There was no funeral service or calling hours.  Arrangements were under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
