Acacia Erin "Sassy" Lemaster, 23, of Akron, formerly of Chillicothe, suddenly passed away on June 11, 2024.  Losing her was completely unexpected and is absolutely devastating.

Acacia "Sassy" was born on July 18, 2000 to Brandy "Kyan" Lemaster and Steven Halasz.  She loved everyone who was in her life and she was so loved and adored.  She was so full of energy and so spunky.  Acacia had the biggest heart and the most beautiful soul.  Sassy was so adventurous and loved being spontaneous.  We could go on and on about this beautiful girl.  She most definitely lived up to her nickname "Sassy" we would all agree.  Her dream was to become a baker and open a bakery with her Sissy Momma Chelsie and to become a mommy herself.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Steven Halasz; her dad, Wayne Cotterman; her papaw, William "Dave" Abernathy whom she loved and adored; recently miscarried twin babies which absolutely broke her heart; her aunts, Megan Kellough and Gloria Speakman; and several very close friends.

Surviving are her mom,  Brandy "Kyan" Lemaster; her sissy momma, Chelsie Lemaster; a special uncle, Jesse Henry; brothers, Cameron Henry, Demetrius Henry, Randy Cotterman, Nico Saxour and Scott Cotterman (Kathy Cotterman), all of Chillicothe, Ohio; sisters, Renee Ramsey and Lauren Cotterman; grandparents, Melissa "Missy" Abernathy, Anthony "Tony" Lemaster, Linda Lemaster and Paula Halasz; uncles, Jordan Abernathy and Brandon O'Neill; aunts, Courtney O'Neill and Chanda Gibbs; her lifelong best friend, Kaylee Lowery; her sisters, Bethany Long and Lacie Long; goddaughter, Meelah Paige Scurlock; godson, Daniel Paul Scurlock, Jr.; her babies' father, Martiece Mclaurin; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, so many that we aren't able to name them all but you know who you all are and just know she loved us all; and her fur babies whom she doted over, Zeus, Arya and Mooch.

Sassy was loved by her family and friends.  This beautiful soul and her energy will never be forgotten.  She will be truly missed and loved forever and always.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to her funeral service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the WARE FUNERAL HOME to help with funeral expenses.
