Alice V. Gray, 92, of Chillicothe, passed 6:15 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 in Pickaway Manor following extended illness.

She was born March 19, 1931, in Ross County, to the late Earl and Lula Kohn Pierce.  On June 26, 1951, she married Herman A. Gray who passed June 4, 2013.

Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Gray; the daughter she never had, Kathy Parsons; granddaughter, Faith (Edward) Bialy; great grandchildren, Austin and Miranda Depugh; a grandson, Vincent Bair; half sisters, Clara Thomas and Rowena Harrell; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Johnda Scott.  She was predeceased by brothers, Dane and Homer Pierce; sisters, Viola Coey, Dolly Hertenstein and Elizabeth King; a half sister; and two half brothers.

A private graveside and burial will be held in Hallsville Cemetery with Pastor Larry Leasure officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023.
