Amy Berry, 77, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in National Church Residences, Chillicothe following an extended illness.

She was born November 29, 1947, in Ross County, to the late Woodrow and Millie Powers Hamlin.  On December 18, 1971, she married Lewis Berry who passed on December 27, 2006.

Surviving are sons, Shannon (James Glandon) Berry and Lewis Berry, II, both of Chillicothe; a brother, Lonnie (Freda) Hamlin, of Chillicothe; a sister, Juanita Cartee, of Londonderry; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, J.B., Waylon, Emmitt and Lewis Hamlin.

Amy retired from the Adena Regional Medical Center after 37 years of service.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Chuck Ramsey officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
