Barbara E. Ault, 77, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. surrounded by her children & grandchildren. Faithfully serving our Lord Jesus Christ, she went through life with a smile on her precious face. On that morning, there was rejoicing in heaven as Barbara received her reward!

She was born June 2, 1949, in Chillicothe, to the late Clint Claytor and Cledith Claytor Srofe. On March 9, 1968, she married her soulmate, the late Larry E. "Toad" Ault, affectionately known as her "Toadie," with whom she is now peacefully reunited. Barbara was proud to be the oldest of 10 children.

Surviving are her children, Renee (Daniel) Diehl of Chillicothe and Shawna (Darrin) Ballard of Conroe, Texas; her cherished grandchildren, Amber (Andre) Edmonson, Emmah (Scott Endean) Berry, Jon "Bub" (Elizabeth) Berry, Mia Rashkind, and Brooke Diehl, her beloved great-grandchildren, Carter, Adalae, Cecilia, Julian, Dahlia, Jon IV, Khaleesi, and Swayzie.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the family's convenience.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
