Beth A. Zonner, 57, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:49 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus following a courageous fight with cancer.

She was born August 15, 1966 to the late Robert and Betty Ann Bethel Hickel.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah N. Zonner, of Chillicothe; a son, Joshua Zonner, of Chillicothe; grandsons, Hunter Smith and Wesson Smith; former husband and lifelong friend, Keith Zonner, of Chillicothe; a brother, Robert O. (Sandy) Hickel, of Commercial Point; a nephew, Robert (Kris) Hickel, Jr.; and a niece, Robin (Joe Mascari) Hickel.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a niece, Kacy Marie Hickel.

Beth was a loving mother and the strongest woman her family had ever met.  She devoted her entire life to caring for her son, Josh.  Beth was his world.  She enjoyed fishing and her country life.  Beth also enjoyed going to watch the Chillicothe Paints with Josh and her grandchildren.  Something they did together for 25 straight years.  Beth had a smile that would light up any room.  She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating.  Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
