Bill R. Jude, 79, of Kingston passed 6:35 p.m. Sunday May 7, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born March 8, 1944 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Ferrell and Elizabeth (Dillon) Jude.  On July 6, 1966 he married the former Judy G. Chumley who preceded him in death on September 6, 2015.

Surviving are children, Gail Kohler, of Kingston, Kevin Jude, of Ashville, Cristal (Mike) Bush, of Laurelville and Renae (Larry) Waller, of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with one on the way;  sisters, Geraldine Fuller and Wanda (Ray) Messer both of Kermit, W.V., Loretta (Rodney) Weaver of Montecello, KY and Madeline Adkins of Huntington, W.V..  He was predeceased by brothers, Nathan, Johnny and Arbie Jude.

Bill was a retired carpenter and a member of Salt Creek Valley Church.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Adena Hospice nurse, Sherry Smith and staff.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday May 13, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Stanley Kennedy officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery.  Friends and family may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023.
