Calvin L. Cochenour, 80, of Frankfort passed 12:44 a.m. Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born February 26, 1946 in Ross County to the late Carl and Anna Chaney Cochenour. On June 14, 1964 he married Gladys LeMaster who preceded him January 19, 2021. He married Maxine Skaggs on January 13, 2023 who survives.

Surviving are son, Mark (Kathy) Cochenour, of Port St. Lucie, FL and daughter, Lisa (Tim) Parrish, of Wauchula, FL; grandchildren, Timmy, Alicia and Brooke; 9 great grandchildren; 3 step children, 7 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces; his best friend and cat, Kitty Tom. He was predeceased by brothers, Junior and Melvin Cochenour; sisters, Luretta Watkins and Irene Higginbotham.

Calvin was a member of Blessed Assurance Temple. He was a retired welder and mechanic. Calvin’s hobby was the gravel pit he had on Little Creek Road in Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Matthew Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Denver Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
