Carol Ann Allen, 84, of Chillicothe passed 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 15, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late Carl and Henrietta Ritchart Dewey. On November 9, 1962 she married Lesley Allen who preceded her February 6, 2018.

Surviving are children, Russell Allen, of Chillicothe, Debbie O’Brien (Dean), of Chillicothe and Stephanie (Stacey) Eitel, of Circleville; grandchildren, Kayla Vest and Taylor Eitel; many special friends and her church family.

Carol was a member of First Church. She retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical center where she was a medical secretary.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Adena Hospice Care Unit for the excellent care given to Carol.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Greg Elliott officiating.
