Carol J. Hays, 77, of Chillicothe, passed 2 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023

at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born March 17, 1946 in Columbus to the late Clyde and Elsie (Green) Lanthorn.  On March 20, 1965 she married David L. Hays.

Surviving are son, James Brian (Catherine) Hays; grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel and Liam Hays.  She was predeceased by a sister and 3 brothers.

Carol retired from C.P.S.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at  WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating.
