Cathy Elaine Atwood, 63, of Chillicothe passed Monday, June 5, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 7, 1959 in Chillicothe to the late Carl R., Sr. and Patricia (Watkins) Woods.

Surviving are children, Charlie Hedrick, of Chillicothe, Marvin, Jr. (Stephany) Atwood, of Chillicothe, Cody (Daphne) Atwood, of Clarksburg and Ashley Atwood, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Nicholas Atwood, Timothy Barnett, Laura Burnheimer, Garrett Hedrick, Jackson Atwood and Wesley Atwood; sister, Phyllis Atwood of New Jersey; and brothers, Rodney Woods and his companion, Shirley and Richard (Julie) Woods, both of Chillicothe.  She was predeceased by infant children, Johnda Atwood and Michael Hedrick; brother, Carl R. Woods II of Chillicothe; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Porter Shoemaker, of Chillicothe; sister, Teri Colvin, of Chillicothe

Cathy was a homemaker and attended Denver Chapel.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 in Denver Cemetery with Pastor Dane Knapp officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
