Charles W. Willett, 82, of Stoutsville passed 7:48 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born October 11, 1940 in Chillicothe to the late Harry L. and Cora Marie Annon Willett.  On January 20, 1966 he married Joann Perkins who preceded him in death December 9, 2022.

Surviving are daughters, LaDonna Haydocy of Stoutsville and Louwanna (Kyle) Schwindt of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Victoria (Blake) Westbrook, Michael Fox and Jacob Haydocy (fiancé' Bridget Bates); great grandchildren, Madison Haydocy; brother, Luther R. "Dick" Willett of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by 2 infant brothers, Harry L. and Samuel.

Charles retired from DuPont after 30 years of employment.  He served in the US Air Force.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday, March 10.
