Chris D. Dalaba, 69, of Frankfort passed 1:11 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2026 at his residence unexpectedly.

He was born August 7, 1956, in Lackawanna, NY, to the late Lawson “Larry” E. and Freida Helen Miles Dalaba.

Surviving are children, John (Heidi) Dalaba, Trishalla (Jeremiah Daniels) Dalaba and Stella (Jason) Carroll; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Sandi (Grant) Johnson, Linda Dalaba, Carla Brang and Jackie (David) Deyo; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Terry and a sister, Bonnie.

Chris was a Truck Driver for over 20 years. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1976 – 1990. Grandpa was always there for his family and friends. He gave of himself selflessly. Chris was a proud patriot of his country.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dan DeGarmo officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery with graveside rites given by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the day of the service.
