Christopher A. Karshner, 43, of Chillicothe, passed at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus following a brief illness.

He was born January 10, 1983, in Ross County, Ohio, to Timothy and Kim E. Moss Karshner.

Surviving are his son, Brayden Alan Karshner; father, Timothy Karshner; a sister, Kara (Dustin Perry) Karshner; a brother, Chad Karshner; a niece, Coraleigh Karshner; paternal grandmother, Deanna Karshner; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his mother, Kim Karshner.

Chris graduated from Southeastern High School where he was recognized as All State in Division 5 Football.  He was an avid sports fan and loved the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.  More than anything, he loved being called "Dad" by his son Brayden.  Chris will be loved and missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Michael Knight officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
