Christopher A. Stevens, 50, of Chillicothe, passed at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his residence unexpectedly.

He was born June 28, 1973, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Steve Sr. and Jacqueline Carter Stevens.  On October 8, 2014, he married the former Krista Welsh who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Jacqueline Stevens, of Chillicothe; a son Hunter Stevens; a daughter, Willow Stevens, both at home; a brother, Steven Stevens, Jr., of Chillicothe; a sister, Tonya Prickett, of Waverly; a nephew; and several nieces.  He was predeceased by his father, Steve Stevens, Sr.

Chris was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting deer and mushrooms and loved riding his dirt bike, motorcycle and tinkering in his garage.  Chris had many friends and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.
