Clem Wilbur Imboden Jr.

Clem Wilbur Imboden Jr. passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born August 10, 1952, and lived a life filled with family, hard work, the outdoors, and countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Clem married the love of his life, Sherry, on August 15, 1973. They would have celebrated 53 years of marriage this year. Their love was the foundation of their family and one of the greatest parts of Clem’s life.

Together, they raised five children: Angie, Michele, Jamie, Michael, and Jonathan. Clem was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Nate, Timothy, Unique, Tori, Roni, Jacey, Judea, and Junior, as well as three great-grandchildren: Logan, Isaac, and Katie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Clem Wilbur Imboden Sr., and by his brothers Don, Ivan, Dick, Thurman, Bobby, and Tony, and his sister Barbara. Surviving brothers Wilbur, and Tom, sisters Goldie and Norma Jean

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.

Clem also had a special companion, Dash whom he loved like one of his own children. Dash was always by his side, protecting him, keeping him company, and giving him unconditional love.

His son Michael was not only his son, but his very best friend. They shared a bond that went far beyond father and son, and the memories they made together will be cherished forever.

Clem spent much of his time outdoors. He loved hunting of every kind, being in the woods, and enjoying the simple things that made him happiest. He was a hard worker who came from a big, loving family and carried those family values with him throughout his life.

Clem was also blessed with many wonderful friends throughout his life. They spent their time in the Barn watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. He was fortunate to have friends who loved him, supported him, and stood faithfully by his side through the very end. Their friendship and presence meant more to him and to his family than words can express.

But above all, Clem was a family man. He loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, his siblings, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His lessons, his stories, his laughter, and the things he taught us will live on through the generations.

Clem gave his heart to the Lord, and while our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort knowing that he is at peace and no longer suffering.
