Clifford Lee Adams, Sr. 69, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:44 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following an extended illness.
He was born October 23, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Arthur Ray and Jean Bell Adams. On August 16, 1997, he married the former Mary Burris who survives.
Also surviving are children, Christopher (Leslie) Adams, of Greenfield, Clifford Lee (Sheila) Adams, Jr., of Lancaster, Amanda Carter, of Kentucky, Ashley Adams, of Wintersville, OH, Tera (Chad) McNeal, of Chillicothe, Ricky Jackson, of Chillicothe, Samantha Lurty, of Chillicothe, and Joseph Cordel; grandchildren, Brooke Adams, Jonathon Adams, Hunter Adams, Irisa Adams, Stormie Adams, Wyatt Adams, Brianna Adams, Dakota Adams, Makayla Carter, Michael Carter, Isaiah Adams, Cole McNeal, Jackson McNeal, Ricky Jackson III, Axel Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Pheonix Jackson, Jensen Jackson and Baylor Lurty; great grandchildren, Kathleen, Quinnlei, Scarlett, Gracelynn Faye, Octavia Adams and Kia Adams; sisters, Peggy (Bud) Ferguson, of Londonderry and Terry Osborne, of Londonderry; brothers, John (Karen) Davenport, of Ohio and Roger Willard, of Londonderry; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandsons, Isaac Adams and Dylan Adams; brothers, Martin Ray Adams and Timmy Adams; and a sister, Linda Nance.
Cliff served in the United States Marine Corps. He attended Hilltop Mission Church. Cliff had worked as a truck driver for Mid American Waste System and had also worked as a Nursing Assistant.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, December 13, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Aaron Satterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Meade Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Circleville AMVETS Post 2256. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
