David W. Hudnell, 87, of Greeneville, Tennessee, formerly of Chillicothe, passed at 1:12 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 in Four Oaks Healthcare Center, Jonesborough, TN.

He was born December 24, 1937, in Highland County, Ohio, to the late Walter and Nina Marcum Hudnell.  On September 28, 1968, he married the former Lola P. Dryden who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Travis (Stephanie) Hudnell, of Greeneville, TN; grandchildren, Cayla Hudnell, Kari Hudnell, PFC Grace Hudnell, USMC and LCpl Savannah Hudnell, USMC; great grandchildren, Kayona Beverly, Lynn Beverly and Ky-Mani Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, John Mark Hudnell, Daniel Hudnell and Everett Hudnell and a sister, Esther Thompson.

David was a retired Semi Truck Driver.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Budd Faulkner officiating.  Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
