David Rittenhouse, 68, of Cincinnati, passed at 11:30 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023 in Mountain Crest following an extended illness.

He was born April 28, 1955, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Rev. Fred Arthur Henry and Dorothy Barnhart Rittenhouse.

Surviving are a brother, Steven (Monica) Rittenhouse, of Milford, OH; a sister, June (Wayne) Dalton, of Rainsboro, OH; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Tim Rittenhouse.

David attended the former Hopetown United Methodist Church and also High Street CCCU.  He had worked as a Mechanic, Auto Detailer and a Security Guard.  David enjoyed restoring old cars, hot rodding and fishing.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Leonard Roop officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service Thursday.
