David W. Searles, 59, of Greenfield, passed 6:10 pm Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Kettering Health following a brief illness.

He was born March 3, 1964 in Enumclaw, Washington to the late David W. and Elcie M. Sumpter Searles.

Surviving are daughters, Donna Searles (fiancé Adontis Harris) of Chillicothe and Dezaray (Colton) Mooney of Greenfield; grandchildren, Maverick Searles, Enzo Searles and Azryel Elkin; brothers, Mike Searles, Steve Cherry, Richard Searles and Larry Cherry; sisters, Diane Searles and Debbie Puffenbarger both of Washington.  He predeceased by brothers, Donnie, Ronnie and David A. Searles.

David was formerly employed by Ron's Landscaping.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday April 6, 2023 at WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 12 Noon – 2 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday.
