David L. Vest, 64, of Chillicothe, passed unexpectedly Thursday July 27, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 28, 1959 in Ross County to the late Donald and Geraldine (Staffan) Vest.  On August 5, 1978 he married Gayla M. Peecher who survives.

Also surviving are children, Tania Vest, Tabitha Woodfork both of Chillicothe and Tyler Vest (fiancé Cassandra Reed) of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Roshawn, Kylie, Bentley, Abigail and Luca; plus numerous friends he considered to be his family.  He was predeceased by son-in-law, Shawn Woodfork; father-in-law, Gale Peecher and numerous friends.

David will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Obadiah Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.
