Denise D. Francis, 60, of Chillicothe, passed at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born August 1, 1963, in Chillicothe, to the late Charles and Helen Sickels Francis.

Surviving are a brother, Chuck (Jaime) Francis; a brother-in-law, Ronald Kennedy; nieces, Tara (Wade) Morrison and Emily (Ryan Grooms) Young; nephews, Aaron Kennedy, all of Chillicothe, Dustin (Jessica) Spires, of Cincinnati and Scot (Taylor) Spires, of Wellston; and best friend, Jeannette (Ray) Hayburn, of Chillicothe.  She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Bruce Hines officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME from one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
