It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis "Pop" Wooldridge, 80 years old of Chillicothe. Dennis passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday June 18th, 2026. Pop was a man of few words but left behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and true devotion to family.

Born on February 25, 1946 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Carl and Anne Wooldridge. On July 29,1967 he married the love of his life Vicki L. Clements and they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2009.

Dennis is survived by his devoted daughter and her family who he loved more than words and would always say "you 4 are the ones that matter most" daughter, Brooke (Mike) Adams, favorite granddaughter, Morgan Adams and favorite grandson, Caleb Adams. Over the years, you would find Pop cheering on his grandchildren and son-in-law at their sporting events and he was usually the first one in the stands.

Dennis is also survived by his brother, Paul (Linda) Wooldridge, of Circleville

along with many nieces and nephews including a special niece Stephanie (Steven) Blades and her daughter, Libby.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Betty (Henry) Thurman, sister-in-law, Patricia Riley, brother-in-law, Earl T Clements, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Elizabeth Clements; nephew, Robert Riley and great nephews Colin, Aiden and Ethan Blades.

Dennis was a 1965 graduate of Chillicothe High School and later went on to graduate from Ohio University Chillicothe. Dennis was a chemical engineer with PPG and retired in 2006 after 40 years of employment.

Private services will be held for family.  He will be laid to rest beside his late wife in Grandview Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
