Donna Jean Calhoun, 84, of Chillicothe, passed 10:45 pm Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in Signature Healthcare following a brief illness.

She was born March 7, 1939, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Earl and Edith Corbean Uhrig.  On August 30, 1960, she married Glenn M. Calhoun who died September 11, 2020.

Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne Calhoun, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jason Todd Calhoun and Michael Paul Calhoun, both of Columbus; great grandchildren, Gage Michael Calhoun, Logan Ann Calhoun and Prudence Calhoun; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale Robert and Dorothy Calhoun, of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Todd Sebastian Calhoun; sisters, Melvina Taylor, Vera Smith and Roberta McWhorter; and an infant brother, Walter William Uhrig.

Donna enjoyed taking rides to watch deer, word search puzzle books and number fill in puzzle.  Above all, she was a people person and enjoyed talking to people about the Lord and their salvation.

Donna was a member of Jefferson Avenue CCCU where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the start of her funeral service on Saturday.
