Donna R. (Dresbach) Lorenz, 81, of Maple Heights, Ohio passed away at home on May 11, 2024, after a brief illness with cancer.

She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on March 13, 1943, to the late Elliott and Marcellette (Miller) Dresbach.  On December 13, 1969, was united in marriage to Donald Lorenz who predeceased her on August 15, 2003.

Surviving are her son, Matthew J., a sister, Jane Miller, a brother-in-law, Richard Lorenz, nieces and nephews, Bruce, Joel, Shawn, Sara, Richelle, Cristine, and Jennifer, great nieces and nephews, Bethany, Tori, Joe,  Sarah, Brooke, Brittany, Kevin, Kyle, Evan, Carolyn, Shea, Blake, Isabelle, Ethan and Colton, and many friends.

Donna was a 1961 graduate of Centralia High School and Ohio University.  She began her teaching Career at Huntington School and retired from the Garfield High School system.  She was president of the Bedford Lions Club and was involved in their many activities.  Donna was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Scott, a sister, and brother-in-law, Beverly and David Timmons, brother-in-law, Roger Miller, a sister-in-law, Sherry Lorenz.

Calling hours are 3 pm – 7:30 pm Friday, May 17th at Golubski-Deliberato Funeral Home, Garfield Heights, Ohio.  The funeral service will follow at 7:30 pm.

Following cremation, burial will be held at the Hallsville Cemetery on June 1st at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be mad to the Lion's Eye Program, Inc. 1730 West 25th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
