Donna L. Richter, 89, of Chillicothe, passed 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born January 21, 1934, in Waverly, OH, to the late Harry C. and Gladys M. Bost Stubbs.

Surviving are a daughter, Melonie Oiler, of Chillicothe; sons, Mike (Barbara) Richter, of Pensacola, FL and Jeff Richter, of Waverly; grandchildren, Megan (Danny) Buxie, Tricia (Cory) Hall, Sean (Katelyn) Lucas, Sarah Richter, Jeff Richter, Katy (Nathan) Brisker and Sabrina Richter; great grandchildren, Keegan, Aarolin, Kinley, Reagan and Elizabeth; brothers, William Stubbs and Frank Stubbs; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lenetta Richter; brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Joseph and Chester Stubbs; and sisters, Mary Haddox, Cora Doyle, Katherine Cunningham, Norma Jean Trisel and Esther Osthoff.

Donna retired April 1, 1999 from the Adena Regional Medical Center where she worked in communications for many years.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff of Promedica Hospice for the wonderful care given to Donna and compassion shown to our family during this time.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jeremy Schinkle officiating.  Burial will follow in Three Locks Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
