Donovan D. Workman, 58, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born April 20, 1966, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Judith Fultz Workman.

Surviving are a brother, Russell Workman, of Chillicothe; a sister, Gloria Ison Vandemark, of Washington C.H., OH; uncles, Ron Fultz, Jim Fultz, and Duane (Lorna) Ison; an aunt, Chris Fultz; many cousins Extended family from Frontier Community Services; Brett Fannin, Gale Hughes, Cyrus Horsley, Dakota Chaney, Darlene Barker, Crystal Arledge and Christina Mango.  He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Workman; a brother-in-law, John Vandemark; and aunts, Jean, Tick and Glenna.

Donovan was a member of Liberty Hill Christian Union.  He was a graduate of Pioneer School and attended First Capital Enterprises.  Donovan earned his black belt in martial arts and he participated in Special Olympics.  He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and wrestling.  Donovan was a special person who was loved by everyone. He was full of life and was always up for a new adventure.  Donovan will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are encouraged to wear red or Ohio State attire to his service.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, June 14, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brian Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Church Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held 10 a.m. to 12 Noon prior to the funeral service on Friday.
