Douglas M. Colvin 82, of Chillicothe passed 12:08 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at OSU Wexner Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born December 24, 1943 to the late Emmitt and Marguerite Colvin. On July 12, 1973 he married Carolyn Wallace who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Marsha (Kevin) Nichols, sons; Michael Colvin and Charles (Alicia) Colvin, all of Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Willard Colvin of Chillicothe; sisters, Patricia (Dean) Wray of North Carolina, Peggy (Jim) B of Fairbourn, and Toni Estep of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by a brother, David Colvin and sisters; Barb, Lori, Sharon, Carol Sue Detty, Donna Farnham, and Toby Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held 1p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Hartly officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. You may sign his online register at www.warefh.com.
