Edna P. Smith 73, of Chillicothe, passed 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Mercy Health West, Cincinnati following an extended illness.

She was born August 19, 1949 in Hamden, Ohio, to the late Bernard P. and Ida J. Funk Smith.

Surviving are a daughter, Tonia Smith, of Cincinnati; grandsons, Seth (Tabitha) Smith, Sr. and D'Andrea E. Smith; great grandchildren, Nevaeh Smith and Seth Smith, Jr.; a brother, William (Michelle) Smith, of Galva, IL; a sister, Lila Brown, of Milan, MI; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, including special friends, Sondra Walls, Christine Taylor, Michael and Lynn Orling, Tyler Orling, June Reed, Chancina and David Kilburn and Barbie Netter and Carrie Martin, whom she considered daughters.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings Duffy, Barney, Peggy, Freda and Helen.

Edna worked as a Secretary for Walls Realty, in Cincinnati, for over 40 years.

A graveside service will be held at approximately 12:45 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Mitchell Salyers officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the graveside service on Saturday.
