Ellen I. Kincaid, 94, of Chillicothe, passed at 5:26 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born November 30, 1929, in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Walter and Goldie Wallen.

Surviving are her children, Scott (Vera) Conley, of Florence, KY, Johnny Patton, of Reynoldsburg, OH, Margaret Miller, of Columbus, OH, William "Billy" Conley, of Waverly, OH, Sarah Griffith, of Chillicothe, OH and Rachel (Chad) Palumbo, of Chillicothe, OH; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Betty A. Hatfield and Viola Hurd, both of Prestonsburg, KY; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Kincaid; a brother, Lewis Dale; and a daughter-in-law, Dreama Patton.

Ellen was a member of the Chillicothe Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Londonderry Cemetery.  In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
