In profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Emerson "Tom" Jay Cash, Jr., a remarkable man whose life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and countless cherished moments.

On Thursday, December 28th, 2023, Emerson peacefully departed after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 81.

Emerson, affectionately known as "Tom" dedicated over 30 years in his esteemed profession to Kenworth.  His commitment to excellence and unwavering work ethic served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Emerson's true legacy lies in the warmth of his character and the kindness he extended to everyone he encountered.  His infectious laughter and genuine smile brightened the darkest of days, creating a lasting impression on friends and family alike.

A passionate angler and green thumb, Emerson found solace and joy in fishing and working in his garden.  These shared moments forged bonds that will endure in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.

Emerson was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Debra Cash.  He leaves behind  a loving family, including his son, Joshua (Kristyl) Cash; daughters, Cindy Cash Carey (Terry Carey), Michelle (Donnie) Mallow and Angie (Larry) Rhodes; brother, Jerry Cash; and close family Nancy (Lawrence) Butler, Albert (Debbie) Clark, Larry (Kathy) Clark.  His devotion to them was unwavering, and his role as a loving father and spouse will forever be treasured.

A funeral service to celebrate Emerson's life will be held at WARE FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 and 12 Noon with viewing hours beginning at 10 am.

As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, let us remember Emerson Jay Cash, Jr. for the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the enduring impact he leaves on our hearts.  May he rest in eternal peace.
