Fran Louise Clark, 73, of Chillicothe, Ohio, was welcomed into God's Kingdom on June 4, 2023 at 8:45 a.m.  She was born March 14, 1950 to Kenneth and Vera Tatman also from Chillicothe, Ohio.

Fran was the most exceptionally loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law you could have ever imagined!  Fran was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, her precious treasure in life, George E. Clark, on September 30, 2012, her loving sister, Trudi A. Jordan on February 14, 2022 and her faithful companion, her dog, Jackson.

Fran's favorite past time was spending time at Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, FL collecting sea shells, watching the sandpipers, listening to the waves, watching amazing sunsets and making memories with her cherished family and friends.  The love, laughter, tears and incredible times together we will always hold dear to our hearts.

Fran and George were married on May 02, 1970 at Walnut Street United Methodist Church.  Once married, Fran accompanied George, who was in the United States Air Force, and they traveled throughout Europe until he was honorably discharged in 1975.

She is survived by her two sons, George "Dubie" (Crystal) Clark, of Springfield and Dustin (Jennifer) Clark, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Gabriel, Ashton, Ava and George; sisters, Vicki (Vince) Eilers, of Florida, Sandra Tatman, of Chillicothe; nieces, Vera Nicole Shover, Robbie Lynn Jordan, Brooke Malinowski; and a nephew, Tommy Keller.

Fran enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and working part time jobs at various doctor's offices where she found her true calling to become a Registered Nurse.  Fran was a 1968 graduate of Chillicothe High School, graduated from Hocking College with her LPN in 1988 and with her RN in 1990.  She later went on to Indiana Wesleyan and graduated, with honors, with her BSN, in 2006, with a group of girls whom she really enjoyed.

Fran was passionate about working in the Emergency Room.  She worked for Grant Medical Center, Columbus and Berger Hospital, Circleville and finished her career at Adena Regional Medical Center's ER where she was a Charge Nurse and also a SANE nurse.  She also had plenty of stories to share about her experiences with her "Adena ER work family" and she truly loved all of you!!

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff at Carriage Court in Washington C.H., OH for the loving care given to Fran and compassion shown to our family during this time.

Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Promedica Hospice 208 N. Fayette Street Washington C.H., OH 43160 or to the Alzheimer's Association.
