Freda D. Dresbach, 91, of Chillicothe passed 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Liberty Village Senior Community.

She was born January 31, 1935 in Richmond Dale to the late Everett R. and Gladys A. Denny Hahn. In 2000, she married Harold G. “Doc” Dresbach who preceded her October 16, 2011.

Surviving are sons, Terry (Lynn) Russell, Randy Russell and Daniel (Nancy) Russell, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Lovely, Jake Russell, Jessica (Tom) Mautz and Dustin (Jennifer) Russell; great grandchildren, Logan Lovely, Ava Lovely, Luke Mautz, Landon Mautz, Everett Russell and Declan Russell; sisters, Leona Lovensheimer, of Circleville and Janice Prater, of Richmond Dale; a brother, Howard Hahn, of Richmond Dale; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Norma Brohard and Mildred Eisnaugle; brothers, Odas Hahn, Lloyd Hahn and Frank Hahn.

Freda was a member of First Wesleyan Church. She was a former employee of WearEver and retired from Mead Corporation.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staffs of Adena Hospice and Liberty Village for the wonderful care given to Freda and compassion shown to our family during her illness.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Little Mound Cemetery with Pastor Jon Welch officiating. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society 2308 Suite A Lick Run Road Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
