Gary K. Jackson, 72, of Chillicothe, passed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born April 4, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Willie and Mary Payne Jackson.

Surviving are children, Matthew (Jamie Wright) Jackson, of Chillicothe, Susan Howard and Mi Ai Nguyen; grandchildren, Samantha Jackson, Natalie Jacobs, Christopher Bradford, Jaden Jackson, Vy Nguyen and Tommy Nguyen; a great grandson, Rayleigh; and a sister, Doris Rickey, of Dayton.  He was predeceased by a son, Keith Jackson; a brother, Nickey Jackson; and a sister, Wanda Collins.

Gary served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from General Motors.

A memorial service will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  The times will be announced once they are known.
