Gloria J. Woods, 66, of Chillicothe passed 10:03 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2023 at her residence.

She was born July 6, 1956 in Paxton Township to the late Elijah and Helen Boyer Woodruff.

Surviving are sons, Leroy, Tony and Robert Woods all of Chillicothe and William Woods of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kyle, Mark, Douglas, Elijah, Michael, Tucker, Bryce, Diamond, Billie Lynn, Allan, Gabby, Anna, Wayne, Kayla, Cristy, Sydney, David, Timothy, Leah, Tony and Adaline; great grandchildren, Grayson, Oliver, Mazikeen, Ryleigh, Evelynne, Emberlyn, Sharon, Remington and Adaine; brother, David Woodruff.  She was predeceased by daughter, Sharon Woods; companion, Timothy Lovensheimer; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Gloria was a retired nursing assistant  at the V.A. Hospital.  She had also worked for L & W Associates.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
