Gracie Lee Kaltenbach, 51, of Chillicothe, passed at 3:44 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 in the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born September 4, 1972, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Darrel R. and Karen L. McCollister Proehl.

Surviving are her husband, Albert Kaltenbach; children, Kirsten Proehl, Tiffany Kaltenbach, Amanda Kaltenbach and Jacob Garman, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Evelayna Proehl and Karsyn Proehl; a brother, Ricky A. Proehl, of Chillicothe; a nephew Zack Proehl; and a niece Goldie Proehl.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Heidi Proehl.

Gracie was a caregiver.  She gave the gift of life to others through organ donation.  Gracie was dearly loved by her family and friends.  She will be missed by them all.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
