Helen Mae Francis Roberts (Williams), 85, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, June 20, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born February 8, 1936, in Cincinnati, to the late Jesse and Beulah Wooldridge Williams.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James D. Francis who died in 1983.

Surviving are children, Abigail (Dale) Patches, of Chillicothe, Starr (Ricky) Dugger and Jesse (Carol) Francis, both of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Anthony, Sarah, Sheba, Flagg, Junior, Jason, Candice, Amy, Michael, Nathaniel Jr., Sabrina, Michael, Matthew and Jacob; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sheba Mesa; sons, Flagg Francis and Nathaniel Francis; and brothers, Jim Williams and Jesse Williams.

Helen was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Holiness Church.  She loved going to church, sewing and singing.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Willard McCray officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
