Jackie Strausbaugh, 89, of Chillicothe passed 5:37 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 at her residence.

She was born March 14, 1937 in Chillicothe to the late Mack M. Sr. and Dorothy L. Magil Steinbrook.

Surviving are children, Steven Spencer, of Chillicothe, Mary Ellen Spencer, of Chillicothe, Rosalee Spencer, of Chillicothe, Vernon (Cloressa) Viney, of Chillicothe and Verna (Herbert) Hammock, of Cartersville, GA; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandkids; sisters, Billie Guysinger and Diane Price; brothers, Daniel (Margie) Steinbrook, Arioch Steinbrook and Mack (Kathy) Steinbrook, Jr.  and life-long friend, Rhonda Johnson, of Chillicothe.  She was predeceased by sisters, Martha Strausbaugh and Freida Jones; brother, Melvin Steinbrook.

Jackie retired from the former US Shoe Factory as well as Heartland Nursing Home.  She was a member of VFW Post 108 Auxiliary.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
