James C. Foster, 72, of Bainbridge passed at 7:45 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born August 17, 1953, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late James C. Sr. and Dorothy A. Kunzelman Foster.  On April 29, 1998, he married the former Vickie Smalley who survives.

Also surviving are daughter, Tracy (Carman) Scott, of Lafayette, IN and Mandy Hammond, of Chillicothe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Anita Fogle.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Kyle Pariscoff; a brother, Jonathan Foster; and a sister,    Kathy Liebe.

Jim retired from Glatfelter where he had worked for 34 years.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in Pennisten Cemetery with Reverend Tom Zile officiating.  There will be no public visitation.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
