James Seymour, 85, of Chillicothe passed away peacefully on Thursday,  March 23, 2023 at Westmoreland following a brief illness.

He was born September 19, 1937, in Chillicothe, to the late Nolan and Helen (Schrader) Seymour.  On March 5, 1960, he married Marjorie McCoy who survives.

He is also survived by, his brother, Gene (Pam) Seymour; sister, Janet (Gary) DeCamp; brother, Charlie (Becky) Seymour; daughter-in-law, Amy Seymour; brother-in-law, Dale (Connie) McCoy; grandson, Nicholas Seymour and great granddaughter, Nora Nolan Seymour.  He was predeceased by his two sons, James (Randy) Seymour and Todd Seymour; brother, Donnie Seymour.

James retired from Mead Paper in 1999 after 40 plus years, working there as a pipefitter.  He was a member of the Jefferson Avenue CCCU in Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Gant officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 11 am. – 12 Noon prior to the service.
