James R. Davis, 48, of Frankfort, passed Saturday, September 23, 2023 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born March 24, 1975 in Chattanooga, TN to Mark E. and Teresa R. (McKnight) Davis.   On September 10, 2022 he married Amy (Knisley) Davis who survives.

Also surviving he was, "Dad" to Mallory (Cody), Marah, Devin, Michael Jonathon, Jada, Marissa, Roger, Zander and Serenity; "Pap" to grandsons, Sawyer and Preston; brothers, Jefferson, Eric, Matt, Jake and James Kevin; sisters, Mary (Aaron), Lori, Rachel, Sara; grandfather, Donald Ogg; other mom, Susan Davis; special Amigos, Brian and Shawn; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by father, Mark and grandmother, Margaret Ogg.

James was a member of Maple Grove Christian Union Church.

In lieu of flowers,  the family requests, memorial contributions be made to the WARE FUNERAL HOME 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601 to assist the family with funeral expenses.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Maple Grove Christian Union Church, Chillicothe, Ohio.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
