James (Jimmy) Everett Scarberry, 83, Slipped quietly into his final rest July 11th 2026. Jimmy’s wife, Vera and daughter Annette was by his side to make sure his transition was Peaceful.

Jimmy was born July 27, 1942 in Louisa, Kentucky. Jimmy leaves behind the love of his life of 62 yrs. Vera and his daughters Annette (Todd) Brown, Kellie Petry, His 2 grandsons Calvin(Hannah) Brown and Mike Brown and his great-grandson Ty. Jimmy also leaves behind 3 sisters Sue, Nancy, Trinna and a brother Tom. A VERY GOOD FRIEND Jennie Smith. Along with a host of many other family members and Friends. Jimmy is proceeded in death by his Mother, Frankie Abbott and brother Donald Scarberry.

Jimmy was loved by his family very much and will be missed greatly.

Per Jimmy’s wishes no services will be held. Remember him as the man we all loved. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
