James Bradley "Brad" Thomas, 58, of Ray, OH, passed 5:04 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born June 11, 1964, in Columbus, OH, to the late Joan Thomas.

Surviving are his long time companion, Sandra Warrens, of Ray, OH; a son, Owen Thomas, of Worthington; mother of his son, Shelley McCoy-Shehata; brothers, J.L. Thomas and Larry Thomas, both of Columbus; and many friends including "Goat" Workman and Mike Haskins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Clifford and sisters, Darlene and Loraine.

Brad was the owner and operator of Landscapes Direct in Bexley, Ohio.  He loved spending time with his son, in the great outdoors, and fishing with his friends.  Brad had a kind loving heart.  He will be remembered for his generosity, hard work ethic, and his sense of humor.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe, Ohio.
