James L. "Jimmy" Zonner, 75, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence.

He was born April 20, 1948, in Chillicothe, to the late Charles and Mabel Brigner Zonner.

Jimmy served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era.  He retired from the Chillicothe V.A. Medical Center.  Jimmy was an active member of American Legion Post 62, AMVETS Post 4, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1626, F.O.E Aerie 600 and the VFW Post 108 where he had many friends.   He was the ultimate motor head and loved his cars and motorcycles.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mabel Zonner as well as a brother, Kenneth and a sister Shirley.  He is survived by nieces and nephews, who loved and will miss him greatly.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Roy Bennett officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Monday.
