Janiece D. Sesser, 72, of Chillicothe, passed 7:11 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born January 14, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Jack Kemmer Walton and Betty Jean Marsh Walton.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Caressa Sesser, of Chillicothe; mother, Betty Jean Walton, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Maxwell Millard, Caroline Sesser and Savannah Sesser; sisters, Julie (Gary) Marks, of Phelps, NY and Jeanne (Steven) Rigler, of San Diego, CA; brothers, Jack K. (Vivan) Walton, II, of Arlington, VA, James K. Walton, Plano, TX and Jefferson (Renee) Walton, of Walkill, NY; many nieces and nephews; several great nieces and a great nephew; and close friend, Jolynn Kelty, of Akron, OH.  She was predeceased by her father, Jack Kemmer Walton.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Jason T. Link officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the Church one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
